Job Title: Lead Preschool Teacher

About Us: Discovery Learning Center Preschool, established in 2005, is a Christian education facility dedicated to the holistic development of young children. We integrate character development into our daily curriculum, emphasizing positive self-image and hands-on learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage children aged 18 months to 10 years, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan, implement, and supervise daily childcare activities following the ABEKA curriculum and Discovery Learning Center policies.
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment by collaborating effectively with other teachers.
- Encourage children's social and emotional growth, helping them understand their roles within the classroom and larger group settings.
- Complete 30 hours of training annually to maintain professional development and compliance with state standards.
Skills:
- Previous childcare setting preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time, up to 38 hours per week
